Our History

Serving Families Since 1899

Established in 1899, New Crown Cemetery has been a cornerstone of the Indianapolis community for over a century. Nestled on 99 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, our cemetery was designed to provide a serene and reflective environment for families to honor and celebrate the lives of their loved ones.

New Crown Cemetery is more than just a resting place—it's a living history of Indianapolis. Over the years, we have served generations of families, offering a range of burial and memorial options that honor diverse traditions, cultures, and legacies. Our grounds are home to notable historical figures, veterans, and community members whose stories are woven into the fabric of our city.

Our dedication to service and care is reflected in every aspect of the cemetery. From the tranquil gardens and towering trees to the thoughtfully designed Heroes Garden and Veterans Garden, each feature of New Crown Cemetery is crafted to provide a peaceful and dignified space for reflection. The Chapel of Peace mausoleum adds another layer of elegance and timelessness, offering both indoor and outdoor spaces for memorialization.

As custodians of this sacred space, we are committed to preserving its history while embracing the evolving needs of the families we serve. Our team is here to provide support, guidance, and compassion, ensuring that every family finds comfort and solace during their time of need.

New Crown Cemetery remains a symbol of enduring care and commitment, serving as a place of remembrance, community, and legacy for generations to come.
